WHERE TO GO, WHAT TO SEE

All the bays and beaches on Kefalonia have their own distinct beauty. Some have rough barren terrain and cliffs behind them and others have olive trees as far as the eye can reach.

Carpeted in white sand with turquoise blue water, the bay of Myrtos (to the northwest) is by all means the most beautiful beach on the island. No wonder why it is permanently voted not only by Greeks but also by international travel magazines as the no.1 most beautiful Greek beach!

Nevertheless, keep in mind that half of the bays and beaches on Kefalonia can only be reached by boat, so you can always pick or even discover your own private beach in many of the island's bays!
