Kerkyra, the capital of the island will fascinate you in broad day light, as well as during the night, because it simply offers everything.

Walking through its narrow streets, called "kandounia" in greek, you will be amazed by the elegant architecture and the romantic spots that you will discover whenever you choose to wander around in town.

"Liston", is one of the most famous and popular spots, where you will discover that the scenery is constantly changing: you might watch a cricket game, or even listen to one of the thousand local bands.

As of June 2007, the Old Town of Corfu, with its three Venetian forts and neo-classical housing was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List as "a fortified Mediterranean port town of high integrity and authenticity".
